Remote Low-voltage User AMR System comprises a main station, several substations (containing collectors, acquisition modules, and concentrators) and information channels. The substations read the data (window value) of meters, and transmit the data to the main station through long distance by transmission media (Ethernet, GPRS, PSTN, CDMA or other information channels). The main station system inputs the collected data into its database. Based on the collected data, the main station system can realize functions such as the statistics of the data, the analysis of electric power use, and the calculation of the electric power fees of the administered areas.
