To promote the development of a digitalized, smart, and video monitored grid, Fibrlink combines advanced monitoring technology and communications technology, researches and develops a whole set of monitoring solutions and system for power transmission lines.

 

It realizes the monitoring and environmental data collection for power transmission lines, and has been successfully applied in North China Grid Company and other provinces’ grid companies. The system plays an important role for electricity security during the Beijing Olympic Games.

 

The System integrates various communication technologies (Wireless Mesh, CDMA, optical communications), solar power supply, data collection, electromagnetic interference protection technologies to achieve high-bandwidth, high-definition video monitoring, and has laid a good foundation for business prospects in future.

 

Monitoring System for Ongoing Power Line Construction

 

Through advanced wireless technology and multimedia video network technology, the System establishes a project video monitoring integrated management system, realizes the monitoring of project construction, enhances information exchange, and makes the projects more efficient and orderly in planning, organizing, directing, implementation, and controlling.

 

It provides a command tool that covers whole single towers, between towers, both sides of HuangheRiver and the complex environment around, creating clear images for on-site construction commanders.

 

At the same time, the video information can be sent to the monitor center and relevant project management department, thereby enhancing construction safety, reliability, accuracy and efficiency. 

 

Substation Monitoring

 

With the existing power sector communication network, Fibrlink achieves real-time video monitoring and remote fault and unforeseen circumstances alarm receiving and treatment for transformation substationswhich can improve substation operation and maintenance of security and reliability, and gradually realize video monitoring and scheduling of power grid to ensure safer and more reliable operation.
